David came from an engineering background until he got the call to be a Health Practitioner sixteen years ago. He took up massage and qualified as a Sports and Remedial Massage Therapist and was trained by Physiotherapists in Melbourne. Here he ran a busy massage clinic before he moved to Queensland and soon realized the value of a holistic approach to health.

For the better understanding of the vibrational aspect of the human body and to complement his personal development he became a Reiki Master. It has not only allowed him to discover the ancient wisdom but also to find his inner self. He continues to explore on a daily basis about the life force energy and developed a special interest in the emotional component of illness.

Since then he has studied the Original Bowen Technique, soon overtaking the other therapy because of its efficacy. David believes that Bowenwork by Bowtech is arguably the only holistic therapy of the 21st century, which is revolutionizing the field of health care. With great success in healing he ran clinics in Victoria and Queensland working alongside complementary doctors of Medical Centers.

Knowing the strength of the technique David decided to train to be able to teach and help others discover the joy of learning this fascinating technique. He became a Registered Instructor with the Bowen Academy of Australia and is proud to teach Bowtech. Since then he has trained many practitioners in Queensland. He tutors in a friendly and relaxed way so that students enjoy learning with fun and humour.

Together with his wife he now runs a Mobile School of Bowtech, which takes him where ever he is required to present the BOWTECH nationally recognized Certificate IV and Diploma Training. Through the Border College of Natural Therapies he also offers 180 hours 'face to face' in the subjects Anatomy and Physiology to students and practitioners.

Energy, Vibration and Bowen

This practical 2-day workshop (16 contact hours) is a connecting link in the Bowen education and it gives an insight how primary energy pulsates as vibrations through its layers of the human energy field to understand Bowen’s unique form of neuromuscular re-patterning which works mostly through the nervous system. By exploring the neuro-physiological and endocrine association of the chakras and how the dynamics of thoughts can change the body’s natural frequency, skills are being offered to assist with your consultation.

On a journey of self-discovery we will explore the subtle energy field of the human body, which is a complex unit. As a team, Anne Maria and David will give you an opportunity to explore the subjects hands-on with the appropriate procedures and how Bowen aids to remove blockages in the energetic pathways and sets up the correct frequency for equilibrium. It is a vision on how to integrate the care of the body with other dimensions of health and healing and gives you an insight on the vibrational part of Bowen.

The course is supported by Anne Maria's recently published book titled Science of Life, a self healing manual for body, mind and soul, which can be purchased for Aus $ 30. It may assist the practitioner or the client as a tool to find the answers within. It presents, that by exercising life choices we have the power and tools to create our own reality at any moment.
